MANTECH seeks an experienced and passionate, career and customer-oriented End User Device Technician to join our team located in our OCONUS, Germany, area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides installation/troubleshooting support to VOIP phones, Teleconferencing equipment, AVMM/conference rooms, printers, desktop computers, other hardware devices as requested, and completes associated cabling work.
  • Travel required to support Regional objectives.
  • Supports refresh, modernization, projects, and STO activities as required.
  • Travels to support other locations within the area as needed.
  • Follows proper processes of equipment classification and sanitization.
  • Conducts equipment surveys, inventories, completes database updates, and assists with logistical services for associated equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Technical bachelor’s degree with 5 years of hands-on experience in IT hardware support or Associate’s Degree with 7 years of experience in IT hardware support, or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience in IT hardware support.
  • Possess an IAT level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M such as Security +
  • Experience or willingness to learn installation/troubleshooting of end user devices such as VOIP phones, Teleconferencing equipment, AVMM/conference rooms, printers, desktop computers, other hardware devices and completion of associated cabling work.
  • Customer facing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting CAN networking requirements.
  • Experience with a ticketing system.
  • Quality cabling skills in installation, splicing, and fabrication.

Clearance Requirement:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position to operate a computer.
  • Common tasks often require reaching to plug in cables behind the desk, under the desk, or into wall outlets. Bending, stooping, and kneeling may be necessary to position equipment correctly, manage wiring, run cables, connect power strips, or access ports that are not easily reachable from a standing or sitting position.
  • The individual must be able to safely climb and work on a ladder to access equipment or wiring in elevated positions, such as running cables through ceiling conduits.
